February Happenings

Well, I haven't posted in a while, because nothing exciting has really been going on. Liam has been having some sleeping issues, which we seem to have under control. He was waking up frequently throughout the night, which I think was a combination of his teething (incisors coming in) and him being ready for 1 nap a day rather than 2.That took us awhile to get used to :)

He is now using 5 word sentences!! He makes us so proud!

I am now 17 weeks pregnant and have just started to feel like myself again. My energy level is increasing, thank goodness. For a while there I felt like a zombie!! Morning sickness is gone! I am getting headaches, but the Dr. says I should drink more water or some caffeine to prevent them, which seems to work for the most part! I am definitely getting a baby bump!! I feel like I am 6 months pregnant, not 4! I just started to feel the baby moving! I feel so blessed to be able to feel that amazing movement again. It makes it feel so Real! Our last Appointment, the Dr. measured me just where I should be and we got to listen to the heartbeat on the Doppler. It was a nice strong heartbeat of about 145. Next week we have our anatomy ultrasound!! Ryan thinks he wants to find out the sex of the baby, but I want to be surprised this time around. I pray for a healthy baby and can't wait to feel the excitement and surprise of finding out the sex at that already euphoric moment. Don't get me wrong, I am soooooo curious!! I would love to know...but I keep telling myself that patience is a virtue :)

1ST Haircut and Chuck E Cheese!!

So, this past weekend was quite exciting!! It was Mackenzie's 3rd Birthday celebration! Liam and Mackenzie went to get their very first hair cuts!!! We went to this adorable place in Princeton, NJ called Snip-It's. It's made for kids and looked like we were in a a Dr. Suess book! Both kids were super good!! Ryan and I were so proud of our little Liam!! He acted like such a big boy despite the screaming children around him!!

It's amazing how different he looks after they chopped his cute baby curls off. My little boy is growing up!

After their haircuts, we went to Chuck E Cheese! This was also a 1st for Liam. He had a good time. He went on a few rides, played some games and had pizza!! Afterwards, we went back to the Costo house to open presents and have Birthday cake for Mackenzie! What a fun day!

Making the Most of our Time Inside.

So, this past week, we have been trying to keep busy while stuck inside from the snow. Liam doesn't like to put his feet in the snow and doesn't much like his Woody and Buzz Boots, so we have to play inside all day or go shopping! LOL!! So, we played with puzzles, pots and pans, cars and trucks and of course watched Liam's most favorite movies...The Wiggles...he is obsessed!!

We did go to Babies R Us and Buy Liam his very own Winnie the Pooh and Tigger chair! He loves it!

And his very first Potty Pod!!!!

We aren't really going full blown into potty training at this point, but Liam seems quite interested and wants to sit on the potty when we go...so we got him his own. He did go tinkle the first time he sat on it, but hasn't seemed very interested since :)

Announcement!

For anyone that doesn't already know.......we are expecting again!!!

We had a second ultrasound done today and so far everything looks great! We are still in our first trimester...11 wks 2 days due August 2nd! The baby was moving all over the place on ultrasound and had a heart rate of 168.

We are super excited and thankful. After suffering a loss in June...this news comes as a blessing. I've been extremely nervous the past couple months...but after todays visit I feel more at ease :)

Liam's visit to the cardiologist

Well, at Liam's last doctor visit the Dr. thought she may have heard a murmur, so she sent us to the cardiologist. We had his appointment yesterday and he was such a good boy! We went all the way to Abington Memorial Hospital, which is about 45 minutes away. Liam met some very nice receptionists and nurses that all thought he was quite adorable. He of course was flirting with them and showing them his best friend Bobby(his stuffed bear). He had an ekg and and echocardiogram. He was such a brave little guy and sat perfectly for everybody. He even let the male doctor (which he usually backs away from the men) listen to his heart with a stethoscope for a good 5 minutes. It turns out that Liam's little ticker is A-OK. He has an extremely slight murmur that they could barely hear even on echocardiogram! So that was our good news for yesterday!

Mickey Mouse & Art's and Crafts

We have enjoyed relaxing the past few days after all the Holiday stuff is finally over and done with.

Yesterday, Ryan got Liam a new Mickey Mouse Club House Choo Choo train! Liam seems to enjoy it! It kept him busy for a good 20 minutes!! I'll take what I can get! LOL! Only down side is that it doesn't work on the carpet, so we have to have it set up in the kitchen or the dining room. Otherwise, it is really cute.

We had an extra loaf of bread (duh on my part) so Liam and I went outside and fed it to the bird's.......and Liam :)

Today, Liam and I went to Micheal's and purchased some art's and craft items for him since we had a gift card from Christmas. I didn't spend a thing!! Fabulous!!!! Then, we came home and made daddy a sign with pasta and paint:)

Liam and I go to nanny Mackenzie tomorrow and we are supposed to get 2-4 inches on snow...I'm hoping 2!

2011!!

Yeh!! It is 2011!! I am super excited for a new year. We had a great New Year's weekend. Friday we went to the Discovery Museum in Cherry Hill, NJ with Michelle, Mike, Mackenzie and Mom-Mom. We all had a great time! The kids really enjoyed themselves. At noon they had a mini countdown to the new year..Very cute!!!

Afterwards, we went back to the Costo House to bring in the New Year with Family and Good Food. We had fillets, crab legs and lobster tail!!! Yummy!!

Saturday we were invited to a Costo family party which was also great times! It was in a barn that was converted into a huge entertaining room with full kitchen and bathroom. It was fabulous!! I left Liam's diaper bag there though!! Duh!! Sometimes I wonder about myself! I am always forgetting something!

Today we are just trying to just relax before we start our normal routine back up again tomorrow.
